| Studies on the Perception of the Structure and Intonation of Chords This volume describes the attempt to find correlations between the structure of chords and the assessment of the contained intervals’ intonation by means of statistically prepared (interindividual) listening experiments. The results suggest that chords can be perceived for the constituting features of interval number and interval quality. The relevance of the results for musical listening will be the focus of their presentation and interpretation. |
